Christopher Dresser Silver Plated Teapot

Stunning and rare silver plated teapot designed by Christopher Dresser. This is a licensed reproduction of the original held in the British Museum. This teapot has a magnificent rectangular body with ebonised wood handle which contrasts so well against the bright silver. In excellent condition with no dents; any dark marks are just camera reflection. This design was an important piece in decorative arts history. Originally designed by the highly influential Dr Christopher Dresser for James Dixon & Sons. A fabulous art deco teapot. Height - 15.75 cms. Width - 19.5 cms. Depth - 5.5 cms.
