Derenne Danse Païenne Lady Dancer

Stunning art deco dancer designed by Marcel Bouraine with the pseudonym of Derenne and signed accordingly. This piece is known Danse Païenne (Pagan Dance) and was made in the Max Le Verrier foundry. It is silvered metal on a fabulous piece of marble. She is beautifully modelled and in very good condition with some minor loss of silvering to the back of her shoulder. Any other dark marks in the photographs are just camera reflection. A truly gorgeous vintage art deco piece. Height - 27 cms. Base - 8.25 x 8.25 cms.
