Ekco Bakelite Speaker

Super stylish art deco speaker cased in wonderful brown bakelite with maroon bakelite vents. Made by Ekco (EK Cole Ltd of Southend-on-Sea). This is being sold as a decorative piece only and if the new owner wants to attempt to get it working, it should only be tested by a qualified electrician as it still contains the original mechanics and cabling although without plug. The bakelite is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks; there is one very small chip to the front as photographed. It looks fabulous on display and is a charming piece of art deco history.
