Large Spelter Birds Marble Photo Frame

Large and beautiful art deco photo frame. With a pretty white and green rippled marble base, this has two pairs of birds made from spelter on either side. These birds are very well modelled and form the supports for the glass. The marble and birds are both in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The glass pane is the original and has a charming silver border which is showing barely any signs of age. The back pane has been replaced with a cardboard backing but obviously this doesn't show once picture is in place. A large and fabulous vintage art deco photo frame. Width - 50 cms.  Height - 26 cms. Depth - 7 cms. To hold photo of 30 x 24 cms (12 x 9.5 ins).
