Leaping Gazelle on Marble

Fantastic art deco spelter gazelle figure. An original from 1930s France, this is a large and substantial piece. The golden coloured gazelle is wonderfully modelled. With some small scratches, this is ever so slightly loose on the base when being moved but perfectly stable once in place. Standing on a fabulous marble base with a banded cream and black marble front and angular slices of marble as decoration. The marble is in excellent condition with only minute nibbles.
