McMichael Wooden Radio

Rare and wonderful art deco radio cased in two tone wood with bakelite detailing. Made c1938 by McMichael Radio Ltd of Slough. This is being sold as a decorative piece only and if the new owner wants to attempt to get it working, it should only be tested by a qualified electrician as it still contains the original valves and cabling. The wood is in excellent condition with no cracks; there is one very small chip to the front as photographed. It has a turntable underneath to swivel towards you when listening. It looks fabulous on display and is a spectacular and hard to find piece of art deco history. Width - 35.25 cms. Height - 28 cms including handle. Depth - 17.5 cms.
