Walther & Sohne Pink Schmetterling Vase

Rare and beautiful art deco vase. Made by German manufacturer Walther & Sohne in the 1930s. This vase is highly collectible and known as the Schmetterling (butterfly). In a wonderful pink glass and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It comes with the rare original flower frog insert which does have some chips as photographed but not overly noticeable once in place. It has a superb design of a lady to each side with outstretched arms. Some minor small marks to one side at the top as photographed but quite insignificant and may well clean up. A truly fabulous piece of vintage art deco glass. Height - 21.5 cms. Width - 31 cms. Depth - 16 cms.
